The brief

Looking for movers and shakers - that’s the motto of the Gastro Gründerpreis, an annual award organized by Leaders Club, INTERNORGA and orderbird. Laika’s role in its 2019 and 2020 edition: To spread the word about the award, its finalists and winners alike and to share the spirit of entrepreneurship in the German gastronomy press and market.

 

The campaign

In a series of press releases to national and local media, business as well as, gastronomy and hospitality press, Laika announced the individual steps of the award from submission to finalists and winners.

We also supported the finalists with PR content such as winner portraits - as part of the prize package that the five finalists win each year. A special highlight for Laika: We did not only write and talk about delicacies such as Sushi Burritos from Pokerria or culinary pest control with HOLYCRAB! We also got the chance to try their creations ourselves and invite journalists to tastings. A PR consultant’s and foodie’s dream come true!
