Meet our advisors—AKA our board members: Suzy, David and Felix

It’s time to update you space travelers out there about something we’ve been cooking up for a while here, at the Laika spaceship. Did you know that we have our very own board of advisors? For about roughly a year, our captain Ela has worked closely with three non-executive directors: Suzy Frith, David Josephs and Felix Schramm. These three superstars help us navigate all kinds of questions—from financials, to staff(ing) issues, from team wellbeing to marketing advice. Basically anything, our spaceship needs to cruise the comms cosmos for many more years to come.

A little spaceship logbook entry to introduce them is therefore long overdue…

Suzy Frith—the Commander Spock to our board

Ladies first, as they say. We are over the moon to welcome on board Suzy Frith, a PR expert with more than 40 years of experience in the industry. Suzy started three businesses before she was 30, created a Top Ten global high-tech PR consultancy, and has since become a professional non-executive director and chairperson. To have her working with us, is like having our very own version of Commander Spock—to stay within the space theme. After all, she is one of the most distinguished and respected figures in the comms cosmos. And, she has even more in common with her famous alter ego: Suzy is extremely articulate, challenges our captain Ela, and supports the crew with strategic thinking and her excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

David Josephs—the Guinan we all need

Welcome on board David Josephs—long term advisor to our captain Ela and the whole Space Dog crew. In a way, you can call him the Guinan we rely on for words of wisdom when it comes to crew development and intergalactic communications, which can sometimes feel quite alien. David has 30+ years in the PR and marketing industry, and now uses his experience and knowledge to help companies overcome challenges through improved service performance, staff development, financial planning, and management. Guinan and David have a couple of things in common: they are extremely sensitive listeners and bring intuition to the crew. No matter where the Space Dog paw hurts, you'll find a sympathetic and kind ear in David—he's a valuable confidant to everyone, from Space Captain to Space Cadet.

Felix Schramm—our version of Geordi LaForge

Last but not least, meet Felix Schramm, who completes our trio of non-executive directors. Felix is the founder of ag-prop, a Berlin based digital studio. He brings his experience from a completely different galaxy to our board. Like Geordi LaForge, Felix is a creative problem solver, especially when our PR agency's equivalent of the holodeck is on fire, or when we're in danger of running out of fuel. Felix helps us find the problem, and helps us develop creative solutions, even under the greatest time pressures.

As you see—we have our own little federation of superstars on board to help us boldly go where no man (or dog) has gone before, and to support us on our important mission to capture the best ideas and convert them into the stories that will shape our tomorrow.
