Laika Rolls Up Its Coding Sleeves: SPICED & Neptune Software As New Clients Aboard

With Neptune Software and SPICED Academy we acquired two new clients from the world of zeroes and ones. One is helping their customers to avoid extensive and costly coding sessions and the other educates programming noobs to become coding pros ready to enter the job market.

Low Code Platform for fast development

Neptune Software provides a low-code app development platform for enterprises to create their own applications without heaving to start from scratch. Neptune enables their customers to design, build, integrate, deploy, and maintain applications. Aside from helping their customers to create their applications faster and less costly the universal backend integration also makes various training courses for employees superfluous as it provides a unified access to all applications - desktop, mobile and offline environments. On top Neptune Software is a SAP Partner and available on Google Cloud Platform Marketplace and Oracle Marketplace. Currently Neptune Software has 500 customers in 35 countries and 85 partners worldwide and more than 2 million licensed users.

Learning to code within 12 weeks

The Berlin based coding school SPICED Academy provides 12 week programming courses in full-stack web development and data science. 

SPICED is on a mission to enable everybody who wants to learn to code to just do it. Founder Frederik Aldag is convinced that everybody with the right mindset and motivation can learn programming. At the end of the 3 months the alumni are ready to apply for a job in their new field. So SPICED is a real opportunity for people that are curious about coding and looking for a career change. Additionally the academy creates the much needed skilled employees for the software industry. SPICED is also recognised by the German Arbeitsagentur as a solid education that brings the students up to a skill level that makes them ready to re-enter the job market. 92% of all SPICED students actually find a job in software development within 77 days after graduation. This great result is due to the ever changing Curriculum that is necessary to keep the learning content relevant.
